The Department of Quantitative Health Sciences is a diverse team dedicated to improving patient care through translational medical research.

What we do

Teams of content-specific experts collaborate with physicians, nurses, basic scientists, and other researchers at every stage of the research process, from protocol development and study design to analytical methods and data analysis.

Our faculty conduct their own research in:

Health disparities

Electronic health records research
AI-based healthcare tools

Faculty also teach biostatistics, epidemiology, and basic research courses to medical students, molecular medicine graduate students, and junior researchers.
